1. What Vetera is

Vetera is a free, public-records research service. We aggregate information already published by federal and state government agencies (the National Provider Identifier registry, the Florida Department of Health, the U.S. Office of Inspector General LEIE, and SAM.gov) and present it in plain English with citations.

2. What Vetera is NOT

  • Not medical advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Not legal advice. Nothing on this site is legal counsel. Consult an attorney for legal questions.
  • Not a recommendation engine. We do not rate, rank, recommend, or warn against any provider. We report what regulators and courts have published.
  • Not affiliated with any government agency. We are an independent service. We do not represent the Florida DOH, OIG, SAM.gov, or any board.

3. Information accuracy

We use reasonable efforts to reflect information accurately as it appears in source databases. However:

  • Source databases update on their own schedules. Vetera may not reflect changes made after a record was retrieved.
  • Public records can themselves contain errors. We report what the agency has published; we do not adjudicate disputes.
  • Identity conflicts can occur (similar names, similar credentials). Users are responsible for verifying that any specific entry corresponds to the provider they are researching, using date of birth, address, license number, or NPI as confirmation.

4. Provider corrections & disputes

If you are a healthcare provider and believe information about you on Vetera is incorrect, mischaracterized, or out of date, please contact us at veterareports@gmail.com. We will:

  1. Acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
  2. Re-pull the original source record.
  3. Correct or remove the entry if the source has been updated or the original was misread.
  4. Where the underlying public record remains in place, we will note your formal response alongside the listing at your written request.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Vetera for personal, non-commercial research about healthcare providers. You may not:

  • Scrape, automate, or mass-download results.
  • Use Vetera data to harass, stalk, or defame any individual.
  • Resell Vetera content without permission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vetera and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any information presented on it. This includes any decisions you make about whether to consult, use, or avoid any healthcare provider.

Information is provided "as is" with no warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. No attorney-client or doctor-patient relationship

Use of this site does not create any professional relationship between you and Vetera, its operators, or its contributors.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Vetera and its operators against any claims arising from your misuse of information on this site, including but not limited to use of information to harass or defame any individual.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Broward County, Florida.

10. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
